M-Media talked to a Muslim resident whose house was destroyed last night in the town of Okpo in Pegu Division.
“Four houses, one mosque and one Islamic religious school were destroyed in Okpo (Oke Pho). They were destroyed since 9 pm last night till 4 am this morning. There are about 400 people in each corner marching from near by villages. Over 1,000 rioters destroyed houses and buildings all together. They also took away properties from the shops while they were destroying the shops”.
